This succinct couplet sums up an entire philosophy about life, and so long as whatever you’re doing isn’t hurting anyone else, this isn’t a bad axiom to live by. Of course, being the Butthole Surfers, it’s followed with the lines "And by the way, if you see your mom this weekend/ Be sure to tell her, ‘Satan, Satan, Satan!’" But the sentiment stands.
